Our guarantee: if your delivered order doesn't match your approved 3D digital mockup, we reprint it free of charge. No exceptions, no arguments.

Section 01

Our 3D Digital Mockup Approval Process

Before any order enters production, Printcosmo sends you a photorealistic 3D digital mockup of your product. This mockup shows exactly how your packaging will look when printed — including your design, dimensions, text, and colour palette.

Production does not begin until you formally approve the mockup. Your approval is your confirmation that everything shown is correct.

1

We send your 3D mockup

Photorealistic digital preview showing all sides, dimensions, and print layout

2

You review carefully

Check every element: spelling, dimensions, layout, colours, and all text

3

You approve — we produce

Your written approval triggers production. The approved mockup becomes the production standard

Your responsibility on approval: When you approve the 3D mockup, you are confirming that all of the following are correct: all text (spelling, punctuation, grammar), product dimensions (length, width, height), print placement and layout, font choices and sizing, and all artwork elements. Please review thoroughly before approving — once production begins, changes cannot be made.

Section 02

Colour Accuracy & Pantone Policy

Colour reproduction in commercial printing is affected by a range of factors including paper stock, ink absorption, print process, and environmental conditions. The colour you see on your screen or monitor will not be a perfect match to the printed result unless you specify a Pantone colour.

Colour TypeWhat to ExpectAccuracy
Pantone (PMS) coloursYou specify a Pantone reference number (e.g. PMS 485 C). We mix ink to that exact specification.Matched
CMYK process coloursFour-colour printing. Accurate to print standards but may vary slightly from screen appearance due to colour gamut differences between RGB screens and CMYK print.±5–10% tolerance
RGB / screen coloursColours viewed on a monitor use the RGB colour model, which has a wider gamut than print. When converted to CMYK for printing, some vivid colours may appear slightly different. This is not a manufacturing defect.Screen vs print varies
Generic colour names
(e.g. "bright red", "navy blue")
Without a Pantone reference, our team will select the closest achievable CMYK equivalent. The final printed colour may differ from your screen view or mental expectation of that colour name. Always supply a Pantone reference for brand-critical colours.Cannot guarantee exact match

If exact colour matching is critical to your brand, always provide a Pantone (PMS) colour reference number when placing your order. Pantone colours are the only method that guarantees a precise, repeatable colour match in commercial printing.

Screen vs Printed Colour — Why They Differ

Your computer monitor or phone screen displays colours using light (RGB — Red, Green, Blue), which produces a significantly wider colour range than what is achievable with printing inks on paper (CMYK — Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). This means:

  • Bright, vivid on-screen colours often print slightly less saturated
  • The same design file can look different on different monitors
  • Paper stock affects how ink absorbs and reflects — matte paper produces softer colours, gloss produces more vivid results
  • Printed colours viewed under different lighting conditions will appear different

Colour variation within ±10% of the approved 3D mockup is within normal commercial print tolerance and does not constitute a manufacturing defect or grounds for a return or reprint. If colour accuracy is business-critical, supply a Pantone reference at order stage.

Section 03

When We Will Reprint or Refund

We will provide a free reprint or full refund — your choice — if any of the following apply:

  • The delivered product materially differs from your approved 3D mockup (wrong dimensions, incorrect text, incorrect layout — not colour tolerance)
  • Manufacturing defects — mis-cuts, misaligned die lines, structural failures not visible in the proof
  • Print quality issues — ink smearing, banding, or bleed errors that are not present in the approved mockup
  • Order lost in transit with no resolution from the carrier
  • Significant quantity shortfall — you receive materially fewer units than invoiced
  • Wrong order delivered — products belong to a different customer

In all eligible cases, you choose: a free reprint to the same specification, or a full refund to your original payment method. We do not offer partial credits as a default resolution.

Section 04

What Is Not Covered

The following are not grounds for a return, reprint, or refund:

  • Spelling errors, grammatical mistakes, or incorrect text present in your approved 3D mockup — you approved it
  • Incorrect dimensions specified by you — always verify dimensions before approval
  • Colour variation within ±10% of the approved mockup (see Colour Policy above)
  • The difference between how colours appeared on your screen and how they print — this is a screen/print gamut difference, not a manufacturing error
  • Generic colour shade variation where no Pantone reference was supplied
  • Design elements you approved in the mockup that you later decide you want changed
  • Change of mind after production has commenced
  • Damage caused after delivery
  • Orders where you provided incorrect delivery address details

Key reminder: Your 3D mockup approval is a binding confirmation that all text, dimensions, layout, and design elements are correct. Printcosmo manufactures exactly what you approved. Always check every element of your mockup carefully before responding with approval.

Section 06

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled without charge at any point before you approve your 3D mockup. Once you have approved the mockup and production has commenced, cancellation is not possible — materials have been committed and your specific job is in the production queue.

Section 07

Transit Damage

If your order arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging, photograph the packaging before opening it. Then photograph the products inside. This documentation is required to raise a claim with the carrier and for us to authorise a replacement.

Contact us within 7 days with your photographs and order number. We will arrange a reprint at no charge once the damage is verified.
